Homegoing services for Pastor James Reginald House, Sr., of Tampa who passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014, will be held on Saturday, December 13th, 2:00 p.m. at 34th Street Church of God, 3000 N. 34th Street, Rev. Dr. Thomas Scott, pastor with Rev. Eddie Brown, Sr., of The Way Ministry officiating and Pastor Dwight Brown, Sr. of Faith and Truth Revealed Ministry, eulogist. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. James Reginald House, Sr. was born December 19, 1962 in Tampa, Florida to the late Bro. James House, Jr. and Ophelia House. He was known as "Redbird" and was loved by many throughout the Bay Area. He was the walking word historian, multi-talented, expert mechanic, a helper to many and a true friend to all. He was well known for his work with the PAL and youth football league, Pop Warner along with the dedicated services he provided to those within the community. He was preceded in death by his father, Bro. James, Jr., brother, Tony House, niece, Antoria House; grandparents, Elder Bo and JoEthel House, Mother Alice Brown and Beaufort A. Brown, Sr. He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, Lesley Charles-House; children, Antonious, Alyce "Tina", Jammece, James Reggie, Jr., and Elijah; step-children, India (husband Calvin), Devin, Andre', Jamal and Anterica; grandchildren, Dayvon, Demaya, Deshawn, Devin, Janiyah, Jamarcus, Ethan, Impress, Demetrius, Yani and Dasia. A loving and devoted mother, Pastor Ophelia House. The visitation will be held at the Holiness Church of Jesus in Unity, Inc., 1522 W. Nassau Street, Tampa, FL 33607 at the corner of Nassau and Rome Avenue from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the 34th Street Church of God on Saturday for the service.
