Obituary

Mr. James R. Terrell, Jr. was born on May 7, 1954, in Arcadia, Florida, to the late Mary Wall and James R. Terrell, Sr. He graduated from DeSoto High School and later continued his education at Savannah State University before enlisting in the Army, he dedicated over 20 years of service to his country. James pursued a career in medical, helping others and then went on to the hospitality field. James had a true passion for cooking and baking and found joy in sharing his talents with others. He was an avid sports fan, with a special love for basketball, and proudly supported his favorite teams, the University of South Florida Bulls and the Minnesota Timberwolves. Known for his loving spirit, friendly nature, wisdom, and creativity, he was an avid self-taught artist. James touched the lives of all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Wall and James R. Terrell, Sr.; sister, Betty Johnson; and wife, Donna Terrell.

He leaves cherished memories to his daughters, Monique Terrell (Augusta, GA) and Amanda Terrell (Augusta, GA); grandchildren, Devin, Jaxon and Christina; brothers, Lawrence Terrell (Maxicelle) of Tampa, FL, brother-in-law, Roosevelt Johnson (Arcadia, FL); sisters, Sandra Hill (Henry) of Tampa, FL, and Angelipa Stallworth (Frank) of Loxahatchee, FL ; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friend, Elizabeth Henson.
