Homegoing services for Mr. James David Woodard of Tampa who passed away on Saturday, January1st, will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. James David Woodard was born November 9, 1943 to the late Leona Woodard. He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Randolph "Bo" Dixon. He was employed with Nelson Construction Company for more than 20 years. He leaves loving and cherished memories with his sons, Terrence Bludsaw (Joean Jackson), Cedric Bludsaw and James Woodard, Jr; daughter, Annette Knowlan; brothers, Rufus "Pop" Woodard (Delores), Freddie Dixon and Jesse James Franklin (Louise); sisters, Vera Springer and Patricia Ann Franklin; sister-in-law, Mozelle Dixon; and a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, January 9th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
