Obituary

Mr. James Rashard Yarbrough was born on March 4, 1980, in Rockledge, FL. He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his dogs, and cherishing moments with family. He was an adventurer at heart, always excited to explore new places and share his experiences with others. Known for his natural comedic sense, James could brighten anyone's day with a joke or a smile. He was also deeply involved in his church from a young age, living a life filled with faith and kindness. Throughout his childhood, he enjoyed playing football and baseball, and those passions remained as he grew older. James was preceded in death by his father, James Yarbrough; paternal grandparents, James Sr. and Ezell Yarbrough; maternal grandparents, Robert and Plassie Dawsey; maternal step-grandfather, Clarence Williams; maternal uncle, Robert Dawsey; maternal aunt, Shirley Peterson; brother, Jimaze Yarbrough; sister, Alonequia Yarbrough; godmother, Dorothy Edmond; and Juanita Yarbrough.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nicole Gerhart-Yarbrough; mother, Patricia Dawsey; brothers, James Yarbrough (Danielle) and family, Rico Simpkins and family, Brandon Smith and family, and Andre King-Hollard and family; sisters, Tequila Butler (Kelvin Cadwell) and family, Shameka Yarbrough and family, and Kim Yarbrough and family; aunts, Comeletta Carter (William), Shelly Bell (Frank), and Glory Jean Dawsey; uncles, Gary Yarbrough (Deborah) and Curtis Yarbrough (Sharon); numerous cousins, including Rev. Pearl Snell, Oran Dawsey and family, Duanna Wynn and family, Latricia Dyson and family, Leslie Dawsey, and family, Netrich Mitchell and family, Deneria Walker and family, Angela Brown, and Breanna McCutchen; step-mother, Princess King; sister-in-law, Erin Parks and family; god-mother, Bert Simmons; and a host of nieces and nephews. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, and his spirit will continue to inspire those who carry his words with them: "So if tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me, please know I'm in your heart." – David M. Romano.
