Obituary

Jamesetta Crowder Henderson of Dallas, Texas passed away peacefully at home on June 8, 2019. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska on October 6, 1948. She was raised in Dallas, Texas, where she attended Abraham Lincoln High School. She later graduated from Mansfield Nursing School in Dallas, Texas where she dedicated a lifelong career in home healthcare until retirement.

Jamesetta was a vibrant, spirited and adoring woman who loved spending time with her family. In addition, she also enjoyed dancing and listening to good music. She was an avid reader and champion at crossword puzzles and board games. A favorite pastime of Jamesetta's was the remarkable joy she received while talking on the phone with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was also an active member of New Covenant Church Jamesetta's faith in God was unwavering and resolute.

Jamesetta is survived by her husband, Walter Henderson Sr.; her four children: sons, Willie Crowder, Michael Crowder and daughters, Joyce Crowder and Jacquelyn Crowder; blended family; step-daughters, Cherie Henderson, Creston Henderson and Akeshea Henderson and step-son, Walter Henderson, Jr.;10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
