Homegoing Celebration for Master Jamilyn Turner of Tampa who passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015, will be held Saturday, March 28th, at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church, 1109 E. Osborne Avenue, Pastor James Knight with Rev. Steve Austin, pastor of Christ Favor Ministries, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Jamilyn Turner was born on December 8, 1998 in Tampa, Florida to the proud parents of Barbara Turner and Eric Wordlaw. He attended Hillsborough County Schools and was a sophomore at Gaither High School. Jamilyn enjoyed playing basketball and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Edward and Hattie Murphy; uncles, Chadrick and Christopher Murphy; aunt, Tabitha Edwards; great grandmother, Barbara Jean Willis and cousin, Derek Turner. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, March 27th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
