A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Janice Clark of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016 will be held on Saturday, April 30th, 11:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Pastor Kennth Donnell of Liberty Church of the Living God, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Janice was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed baking cakes, brownies and many more. Her favorite cake to bake was lemon cake. She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace Butler and Dortha H. Crawford; grandparents, Leatha Holloman, T.J. Hollomanand Jessie Butler; uncles, William Holloman and T.J. Holloman, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories with her children, Tyrone Slaughter and Reshey Hardy (Whitney); grandchildren, Cornecia Hardy, Ava Hardy, Serenity Slaughter and Sincere Slaughter; brothers, Master Jack Butler and Horace Butler, Jr.; sisters, Linda Bush (Larry Jones), Valarie Lee, Flowrida Jones and Peggie Crawford allof Albany, GA; aunts, Bertha Anderson, Hazel McCall, Dollie Holloman, Ceola Nunez, Christine Holloman, Jessie Butler, Bennie Mae Butler and Mae Francis Hill of Albany, GA; uncles, William Holloman and Fred Nunez; nieces, Salina Bush and Latina Bush; nephew, Chris Johnson; cousins, Marilyn Anderson, Michael Laster, Deborah Laster, Paul Anderson, Jr., Clarice Anderson, Yolanda Larry, Katrice Jenkins, Willie Cobbert and Cassandra Cobbert; devoted friends, Wanda Sallet and Rosita Brooks. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, April 29th from 5 to 8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
