Jared was born on July 30, 1990, to John Speights, Sr., and Lawanda Richardson (Ronnie). He loved football and dancing, along with enjoying baseball, boxing, paintball, and fishing. He loved life to the fullest!

He was preceded in death by his brother Damon Speights; uncle, Tim Patterson; grandfathers, David M. Joyner and John Speights, Sr; great-grandmother, Ella Frazier.

He leaves to cherish memories with his parents, John Speights, Jr., and Ronnie and Lawanda Richardson; children, Jared, Jr., Jakeriah, Jaylee, JaCorey, JaKya, Jayah, JaZaire, and DAsia;grandmother, Earnestine Frazier and Ruby Speights brothers, James D.
