Jaretta, affectionately nicknamed "Pretty Retta", was born on March 13, 1982 to Jamal Goston and Brenda Riascos. She loved spending time with her children; she was all about family love. She loved shopping and being a fashionista. Jaretta was a hard worker and loved Christ. She was preceded in death by her father, Jamal Goston; great-grandmothers, Alice Govan and Opal Butler; grandfather, Andrew Lucas; uncle, Ray Johnson; great-great-aunt Lilian; and uncle, Bill Taylor. She leaves precious memories with boyfriend, Cudda Mills; children, Jermaine Hayes, Jaylen Whitaker (Nene), Allana Whitaker, ReNe Whitaker, RoHoni Whitaker, Amor Harris, Raequin Smith, and Lakai Crawley; stepdaughter, Jasmine Merritt (Houston); Roberto Whitaker; grandchildren, ANarii and Legend Whitaker, and Houston Jr.; mother, Brenda Riascos; stepfather, Luis Riascos; grandmother, Mother Evelyn Lucas; brothers, George Smith, Michael Palmer, and Jarell Goston (twin brother); sisters, Jeanelle Goston-Bagwell (Tony) and Juanita Hern; great aunt, Mary Bellamy, aunts, Lashawn Myers (Daryl), Tiffany Webb-Marshall, Linda Hicks, Cheryl Ward, Diane Coney, and Kiesha Harris (Corey); uncles, Clarence Marshall (Jacquelyn), Curtis Roberts (Tamika), Ronald Marshall (Charlene), Ulysses S.
