A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Jasper Carl Burgett 'Carl' of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2019 will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, 10:00 a.m. at Orange Hill Cemetery, 4900 E. Chelsea Street, Tampa, FL. Carl was born on December 19, 1935 in Meridian, Mississippi to Jasper Carter Burgett 'Jack' and Jean W. Clark. Carl was an avid country music fan who sang and played guitar himself. He has participated in multiple venues including the Florida Strawberry Festival and in the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper Carter Burgett 'Jack' and Jean W. Clark and step-daughter, Karen Sue Murphy. He leaves to cherish his fond and loving memories with his children, Jeannine Elizabeth Schaub, Tracy Jo Trobaugh and Sherry Ann Rockman; grandchildren, Courtney Erminio (Anthony), Lawrence J. Schaub (Sabrina), Madeline Schaub, David Schaub (Themelina), Jessica Trobaugh, Garrett Otto, Jenna Burgett, Elaina Stainbrook (Sean), Natalie Rockman and Kathryn Rockman; great grandchildren, Anthony Erminio, Lyla Erminio, Luke Stainbrook, Andrew Herrin, Paul Erminio, Abel Schaub, Ethan Stainbrook and Elise Burt; former wife, Mary Carol Burgett; step-daughter, Sharon Murphy and a host of other relatives and friends.
