Obituary

Mr. Jayln James Williams, 18, of Tampa, FL, passed away on September 2, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, joy, and determination. Born on September 9, 2006, Jayln was the beloved son of Jamie Williams. From the very beginning, Jayln's smile could brighten even the darkest of days. Those who knew him best describe him as positive, kind-hearted, and driven—someone who believed in chasing his dreams and encouraging others to do the same. Though quiet as a young boy, he grew into an outgoing young man who cherished his wide circle of friends yet remained thoughtful and intentional about who he welcomed into his inner circle.

Standing at 6 feet 2 inches tall and 200 pounds, Jayln was a strong presence on the football field as a defensive end. Beyond sports, he had a creative soul. He expressed himself through music, videos, photography, and songwriting—always exploring new ways to share his ideas and talents. His passion and dedication earned him a scholarship to Full Sail University near Orlando, where he planned to begin his studies in Music Production. Jayln often spoke about "blowing up" in the music industry, not out of arrogance, but out of a belief in his own potential and a desire to make something meaningful with his life. A proud 2025 graduate of Riverview High School, Jayln celebrated this milestone surrounded by family and friends. He looked toward the future with excitement, unshaken by challenges and always eager to embrace the next adventure. To him, even setbacks or rainy days were opportunities for something "epic." His optimism was contagious, and his laughter unforgettable.

Jayln is survived by his devoted mother, Jamie Williams; stepfather, Carlos Austin; grandmother, Betty Williams, along with countless friends and loved ones who were touched by his life.

Jayln's presence was unforgettable—his laughter contagious, his creativity boundless, and his heart genuine. He had a way of making people feel seen and valued, whether through a joke, a song, or simply his smile. To his family and friends, Jayln was more than a son, grandson, or friend—he was a light, a motivator, and a reminder to live boldly and joyfully. Though his time here was far too short, the love he gave and the dreams he chased will continue to inspire all who knew him.
