A Homegoing Service for Mr. Jeffrey Egbert Grosvenor of Wesley Chapel who passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020, will be held on Tuesday, December 29th, 10:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Canon Benjamin Twinamaani, rector of Grace Episcopal Church, officiating.
Jeffrey Egbert Grosvenor was born November 18, 1945 in St. Anne, Trinidad and Tobago to the late James Egbert Grosvenor and Sylvia Ruth (Springer) Grosvenor. He was a father, brother, uncle, nephew, coach, mentor, counselor, and a devoted Anglican. A true pioneer, ambassador, and godfather to fieldhockey both in the New York Tri-State areaand Tampa Bay region. A vivid fan of all sports, especially basketball, football, soccerand cricket.
He leaves to cherish his memories: children, Janae Barnes (Jeffrey), Stefon Smith (Karina), Jamal Grosvenor (Carmen) and Christopher Grosvenor (Christine); grandchildren, Bria, Elijah, Adelina and Jamison; sister, Junette Cust; uncle, S. Hugh Springer (Roslyn); niece and nephew, niece and nephew, Cheryl-Ann Cust and Sean Cust (Latrice); grandnieces, Anyika, Marcial and Taylor Cust; a host of cousins in the Grosvenor, Springer, Hart and Henry families along with loving friends and godchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to Tunza Sports Academy - (Below)
