Homegoing celebration for Master Jermaine Reeves, Jr. of Tampa who passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013 will be held Saturday, September 28th at 10:00 a.m., Cathedral of Faith Church, 6304 N 30th Street, Apostle James H. Howell pastor, with Pastor Joanne Gillespie of Embassy International Christian Center as Eulogist. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Jermaine was a student at young Middle Magnet School He enjoyed playing football and remained active in a variety of sports including basketball and baseball. Jermaine loved listening to music, spending time with his family and playing on the computer. He was preceded in death by grandfather, Jimmy Bess and great grandfather, Cornell Longstreet. Jermaine leaves to cherish fond and loving memories with parents, Debbie Bess (Jermaine Reeves, Sr.) and Siriya Isidore (Ellister Brock); grandparents, John and Minnie Pearl Reeves, Herman and Dorethar Morris, Helen Isidore, Bernadin Isidore and Florence Bess; great grandparent, Frances Miller; siblings, Daquarius, Jimmie, Demario, Ja'Keria, Sharmaine, Ja-miah, Jer'laysia, Kourage, Syrrah and Syira; aunts and uncles, Debra Reeves, Reginald and Sharon Snell John Reeves, Cynethia Snell (Dink), aunt, Stephanie Reeves-Brooks, Cory Carter, Gerald Reeves, Dan Reeves (Avery), David Reeves, Naomi Morris, Herman Morris, Jr., Jeffrey Morris (Melonie), Angie Ross, Aunt Connie, Debra Hunter and Ronnie Jenkins; great aunts and uncles, Gail Longstreet, Richard Longstreet (Evette), James Longstreet, Annette Longstreet, Queen Longstreet, Lois Longstreet, Marvin Longstreet, Charlie Longstreet, Mary Longstreet, Sandra Longstreet and Nathaniel Longstreet; special cousins, Mason Chisolm, Jr., Cory Carter, Jr., and Gerald Reeves, Jr. and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, September 27th from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
