Mr. Jerry Moore, also known as "Bobby", was born on August 13,1944 in Quincy, Florida, to Jule James Edwar and Ollie Rose Smiley, and he was raised by Oscar Moore. Jerry went on to get his GED in Quigly, then earned his bachelor's in psychology from Buffalo University. Jerry also completed one tour of duty in Vietnam while serving in the Army and was a Sergeant at Arms for 4 years with the American Legion. Jerry dedicated 25 years to working for Hillsborough County, as a truck driver. Jerry was funny, kind, and loving, and enjoyed reading and dancing in his free time.
He was preceded in death by: wife, Vicie Moore; daughter, Cherry Ann Shivers; brother, Jule James Edward, Jr.; son, Cassie B. George; and sister, Ollie George Jenkins.
He leaves to cherish his memories: children, Shirley Agurs (Thomas) of Rock Hill, SC., Carolyn Davis, Jerome Moore, and Evelyn Williams, all of Tampa, Fl.; grandchildren, Shiron (Quinton), Rechelle, Thomas, Jr., Nancyann, Jermaine J., Pheadra, Carolynn, Deidre, Tyree, Ericka, Tatiana, Jercell, Termaine and Jermaine B.; 25 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friend, Ann Franklin.
