Ms. Jewell Campbell was born in Statesboro, Georgia on April 1, 1942, moving to Tampa, Florida at an early age. She was educated in the Hillsborough County Public School System and would go on to drive a school bus for them for over 17 years. Jewell was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Davis and Clara Graham; and siblings, Adell Johnson, and Dexter, Sheraraka, and Mary Davis.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories; sisters, Margaret Stevens, Erenstine Rowland, Theresa Wade, Iredell Davis, and Ethel Williams; brothers, Howard Rich, Erenst Davis, Jr., and Terrance Davis; nieces, Nell Johnson, Mia Brown Thomas (Ramique), Dioan Fribley (Michael), Nikki Bradham (Robert), and Nyjer Granger (Eugene), nephews, Lawrence (Pep) Brown, Jr. (Pamela), and Ernest Johnson; special godsons, Jonnario Brown and Otis (OT) Brown; and a host of great-nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, along with the Sulphur Spring Community.
