Memorial service for Mr. Jimmie Anthony of Tampa, who passed away on Monday, December 31, 2012, will be held on Thursday, January 10th, at 5:30 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, with Pastor R. L. Lockett, Jr., officiating. Mr. Jimmie was born on July 16, 1935 in Tampa, Florida to the late Willie Anthony and Louise Johnson. Jimmie loved and resided in the Belmont Heights area his entire life. He loved to talk and was a sports fan. He was preceded in death by his sisters Margie Henry and Irene Floyd. He leaves to cherish her memories: his sister, Eloise Anthony Allen; nieces, Irene Davis, Joyce Miller, Denise Williams, Debra Gainer, Michele Patterson and Sheila Allen; nephews: Ken Anthony, Herbert Allen, Jr., Herman Floyd and Isaac Allen; great nieces: Kennetha Carter, Michelle Ohjiambo, Nicole Lake, Kenitra Anthony, Chante White, Tekarri Gainer, Alexis Allen, Margie Alaina Davis, Zakelia Battle, Florence Harris and Winter Allen; great nephews: Kenneth Anthony II, Glenn Williams II, Adrian Anthony, Eugene Gainer, Andre Holmes, Jason Tucker, Gilbert Jones, Jr., Iv Patterson, III, Andrew Allen, and Anthony White; cousins: Oliver Mayo Jr., Gloria Jean Sterrex, Cleo Lowe, Virginia and John Anderson, Teresa Mayo, Robert Dudley, Sonya Dudley, Lavone anderson, Kathy Lowe, Gail Harrison and Karen Hart and many neighbors and friends. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel for the service on Thursday evening.
