Homegoing services for Mr. Jimmie Lee Hickmon a lifelong resident of Tampa, who passed away on Monday, January 2, 2012, will be held on Thursday, January 5th, 6:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd, with Pastor Robin Willis, officiating. Interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery on Friday, January 6th , at 10:30 a.m. Mr. Jimmie Lee Hickmon was born on June 19, 1953. He was preceded in death by both parents: Grady Hill and Annie Lou Hickmon; sisters, Gennie Mae Tillis Canada and Linda Hickmon and brother, Albert Hickmon, Sr. He leaves to cherish loving memories with: brothers, Tom H. Hickmon, Otis Hickmon and John H. Hickmon all of Tampa, FL; sisters, Elizabeth Hickmon of Tampa, Nettie Sue Hickmon and Mildred Hickmon both of Hartwell, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The viewing was held at Aikens Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:30 p.m. until the service time. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel for the service.
