A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Jimmy Lee Brown, Sr. of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020 will be held on Wednesday, November 11th, 2:00 p.m., at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Tampa, Florida, Pastor Rocky Vann, officiating.

Jimmy Brown was born on March 24, 1946, to the late James Brown and Josephine Goodwyn, in Forsyth, Georgia. Jimmy and Dorothy met in New York. They were married on March 23, 1990, andmoved to Florida together, where they created a beautiful life together. They have been married happily for over 30 years. From your wife, "We love you, but God loves you best.' Jimmy loved relaxing on his screened-in porch and watching the Cowboy's football games, especially the Sunday soul. He also enjoyed taking his wife to and from work.

Jimmywas preceded in death by his parents; one son; one sister; five brothers; three sisters-in-law; and three brothers-in-law.

He leaves to cherish his memories with his wife, Dorothy Brown; children, Jimmy Lee Brown, Jr., Jacqueline Brown-Hendrix (Orlando), Jerrett Lee Brown, Sr. (Aleshia), Jason Brown, Sr. (Tracey), Jandalynn Guetierrez (Salvador), Jonathan Brown, Sr. (Tamika), Raynoras Brown, Doelta Brown, Letheta Brown, and Daryn Brown; 26 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lillie McDonald, Emma Grier and May Kelsey; step children,Jerome Lewis (Edna), Tyrone Lewis, Randy Lewis, Harold Lewis, Gerald Lewis (Diana), Terrell Lewis, and Valeria Lewis; 3 sisters-in-law, Anette, Rebecca, and Loretta Ervin; 2special friends, Eric and Sam; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 11th, 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home on Wednesday for the service. We are following the CDC guidelines.
