Jimmy was born on March 19, 1947, in Vienna, GA to the late Deacon Arthur Lee, Sr. White and Deaconess Mary E. White. He attended Middleton High School, class of 1965. He was drafted into the military in 1967, serving in Vietnam. After returning home he worked at Florida Steel for 30 years, and then worked at Infra Metal for 10 years, before retiring all together. His passion has always been baseball, which he enjoyed playing, watching, coaching, and working with his children and teaching them how to play.
He was preceded in death by: his father, Deacon Arthur Lee White, Sr.; mother, Deaconess Mary E. White; sister, Linda McKenzie; brothers, Arthur Lee White, Jr., James White, and Pastor Larry White.
He leaves loving memories to his wife of 56 years, Annie P White; children, Eugene McKinnie (Erica), Chauncy Goff (Natalie), Charlenthia "Cookie" White (Roni), Jimmy Lee White, Jr. (Felecia), Demetria White (Kenny); special daughter, Zoee Rodgers; grandchildren, Adrian, Tasharia, Jamecia, and Jermaine White, Eugina, Chineka, Michael, Jasmine McKinnie, and Lakirah Kincy; great-grandchildren, Ethan McKinnie, Eli Scott, Rashad McKinnie, and Kalielle Wilson; brothers, Rev. Donald White (Marie), Lawrence White (Vivian); aunts, Lois Brown, and Wynette Jordan; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; special cousin, Ruth Jones; especially fond of his in-laws, Rev. Jessie Rodgers (Shirley), Knox Rodgers (Nikkia), Dorothy Ellison Calphonza, Sylvester Rodgers, Gloria Jacobs (Jimmy), Mary Jackson (Earl), Vivian White in Pahoke, FL., Linda White; long time friends, Eddie Hayes, Mike Martin, and Ivory Haywood; caregivers, Jackie Calhoun, Fenicia Rodgers, and Mabel Guerra.
