Joan was born on December 3, 1948, in Blakely, GA., to Willie and Inez George. She loved to cook and loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Johnnie C. George.

She leaves precious memories withher children, Earnest Robinson Jr., Shemeca Robinson, Crystal Robinson, Bernice Robinson (James), and Kenneth Robinson (Tawanna); grandchildren, James, Jaleeshia, Calberone, Lavinna, Keyetta, Jeremiah, Kenneth, Jr., Takendris, Keelei, and Kanae; great grandchildren, Semaja , James, Jr., Jasmine, Samaria, Sasienna, Vernon, Jr., and Vitorrio;
brothers, Willie (Nancy), Robert (Beverly), Vincent (Emma), Jerry (Gloria), Jimmy (Barbara); sisters, Sheryl (Donald), Mary (Tom), Dorothy (Harvey), Bobbie Jean, and Bobbie Jean Mason; aunts, Margaret Davis, Mary Glover, Martha Wade, Annie Rhoden, and Ornie Patterson; uncles, Horace George, and Milton Wade; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and special friends, Pamela Beckwith, Willie Mae Williams, and Annie Ruth.
