Joesphine was born on June 5, 1934 in Thomasville, Georgia. She was a homemaker, loved people and enjoyed cooking. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mrs. & Mrs. George Haywood, Sr. and three grandsons, Tyrone Williams, Dewayne Simmons and Devon Chappell. She leaves to cherish her memories a devoted friend, Hayward Johnson; seven children, Joyce Copeland, JoAnn Matthews (Mark), Clifton Williams (Ann), Mary Williams, Gary Williams, Lavern Williams (Ron), and Howard Williams; and father of her children Paul D. Williams; 18 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; five brothers, George Hayward, Jr., Tommie Haywood (Rosetta), Eddie D. Haywood (Julia), Joel L. Haywood and Andrew Haywood (Lillian) all of Thomasville, Georgia; five sisters, Mamie L. Wyche, Mattie M. Walker, Annie B. Tiller (Tommie), Barbara Cummirty (Ruben) all of Tampa, and Everlena Williams, Thomasville, Georgia; two aunts, Mamie Scott and Eddie Lee Wilkins of Thomasville, Georgia; a host of nieces and nephews; cousins, the Springer, Scott, Jackson and Wilkins families; in laws, Lavern Williams, Renee Williams, George Matthew and Ralph Whyche.
