On April 16, 1955, John Quincy Canady was born in Tampa, Florida into the lives of the late Melvin Canady, Sr. and Johnnie Mae (Lemons) Canady. However, on April 17, 2025, the Lord called for John to leave from his earthly life to spend his eternal life with Him in his new home called HEAVEN. Jesus stood at the entrance of the pearly gates of Heaven, waiting and watching the heavenly angels usher him on home to his final resting place.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Melvin Canady, Jr., and Rudolph Canady; niece, Twila Canady; brother-in-law, Ervin Miller. John leaves behind to mourn his earthly loss, 2 sisters, Luvenia Canady Turner (David, Jr.), and Ernestine Miller; 1 brother, Ernest Canady (Leah); 2 nieces, Tara Turner and Temika Canady; 4 nephews, Marcus D. Turner (Dawn), Jonas A. Oliver (Melinda), Melvin Canady III and David Canady. Along with a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other loving relatives and friends who will dearly miss him.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of min enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
