A celebration of life for Mr. John Henry Myles of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 will be held Saturday, September, 17th, 11:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Brother Kenneth Lee, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. John H. Myles was born January 29, 1941. He was raised in Tallahassee, Florida where he attended Leon County public schools. He moved to Tampa in 1962 where he was employed at First National Bank, Westinghouse, and retired from Tampa Housing Authority. During his free time, he enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Tempy Lee Myles; brother, Eddie Myles; sisters, Lucy Bouie and Corrine Myles. He leaves to cherish is precious memories with his wife, Trudy Myles; children, Tyrone Myles of Tallahassee, FL., Marie (Tempy) Foutgar of Atlanta, GA., Vera (Myles) Telfare, Lyzenia Myles, Fredrick Myles, Angelica Myles-McCogg and Lisa Myles; sisters, Elmira Myles of Jacksonville, FL., Margaret Ellis, Ethel Arnold, Geneva Campbell and Annie Lee Singleton all of Tallahassee, FL.; brother, David Myles of Tallahassee, FL.; uncle, Willie Bruce; grandchildren, Antonio and Antoine Cloma, Gena, Darmesha, Yesenia and Emilia Rejouir, Tyesha, Khailih and Nushawn McCogg, Amaria, Kingston, Maleasya and Tre-meia Myles, Mario Myles-Lewis, Capurs III and Maurice Richardson; and a host of great-grandchildren, other family members and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, September 16th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
