S/Sgt Wynn was born in Edenton, North Carolina, and was a resident of Tampa, Florida. He served in the armed forces and loved playing penuckle and upholstery. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother, Pearlie Halsey Gilliam and father, John Walter Wynn, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife, Ernestine Thomas Wynn; children, Rubie Wynn, Kenneth Junious, Cynthia Denise and husband, Hiram Jones, Brenda Faye and husband, Derek V. Walden, Sr.; grandchildren, Kenneth Junious, Jr, Adam Johnson, Sr, Derek V. Walden, Jr., and Devin M. Walden; five great grandchildren, Ambrielle Johnson, Allen, Aliyah and Adam Jr. Johnson and Chauncey Cannon; nieces Lori Mays (Chris), Sherrie Watkins, Katari Jones, Pat Tillis (Kevin) and Toyna (Michael); nephews, Wyndell Mays (Deborah), George Mays, Trent Jones (Valeria) and Juan Jones, and Douglas (Sandra) Jones; cousins, Ella M. Blocker (Tyrone), Daniel Halsey; Percy Halsey (Selena), Vivian Halsey, Willie L. Perry, Annie Delois, Eloise Roundtree, and Julia Nunnaly; brother-in-law, Eddie Mays, friends, Willie & Josephine Browder, Alphons and Eleanor Thompson, Patricia Graham and Donald, Dorothy and Leon Davis; godmother, Mrs. Louella Hayes; and staff at Whispering Oaks.
