Johnnie was born in Shellman, GA on March 1, 1932, to Joe Daniels and Rubie Lee (Dixon) Daniels. In December 1951, she married Judge J. Broner, Sr. and in 1952, the happy couple made Tampa, FL their home. Together they built a life for six children surrounded by family and community. Her first church home was Greater Bethel M.B. Church under the late Rev. John L. Overstreet. She then continued her longtime membership at Victory Tabernacle M.B. Church which he founded. At the time of her passing, she was a member of Northside M.B. Church.

Johnnie was a graduate of Middleton Adult High School, a member of The Golden Rule Christian Women's Circle and The International F. & A. M. Mason Order of Eastern Stars, a housekeeper and loved to attend gospel quartet concerts.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, their children, Paul Broner, Randy Broner, Sr. (Beverly), and Johnny L. (Robby) Broner (Verdell); her brothers, Joe Cephas Daniels, William A. "Bro" Daniels, Sr., John A. Daniels, Sr., Eddie James Daniels, Sr. and sister, Hilda D. Daniels.

Johnnie leaves to cherish her memory with her children, Judge J. Broner, Jr., Bounder S. Broner, Sr. (Kassie), and Cynthia Broner Dukes (Michael); grandchildren, David Broner, Devaris Straughter, Jayme-Lee Borders, Armondo E. Dukes, Bounder Broner, Jr., Katrina Broner, Sierra Broner, Jasmine Broner, James A. Broner (Kethia), Evelyn (Coco) Tensley, Robby L. Broner, Jahnequa Broner, Randy E. Broner, Jr.; her sisters, Ruby M. Daniels, and Thelma L. Daniels; brother, Lester H. Daniels, Sr. (Thelma); and sisters in law, Joann Daniels, Beatrice Daniels and Thelma Soilberry (Wade); brothers in law, John Broner, and David Broner (Annie). Her love will live on through her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends.
