A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Johnny J. Harris of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Monday September 9, 2019, will be held Saturday, September 21st, 4:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Timothy Lancaster, officiating. The interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Albany, Georgia. Johnny J. Harris was born December 24, 1956 in Albany, Georgia. He enjoyed was handy man and enjoyed dancing. He was preceded in death by his father, Annise Harris; brother, Michael Jones; uncle, Charlie Harris. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his mother, Ophelia Jones; brothers, Kenny Scott, Annise Harris (Peter), Eddie, and Morris Jones; sisters, Wanda Mingo (James), Teresa, Kay and Ann Marie Harris; aunts, Mary Strowder (Wayne), Dorothy Strowder, Lee Perkins, Lillie Winkfield, Eddie Mae Stephens, Mary Lester, Sallie Harris and Linda Hines; uncle, Leroy Strowder, Jr. (Sandra); nieces, Alicia Garland (Darryl), Shareka Dooley (Narada), Deborah Dooley, Takisha Martin (Raymond), Tonisha Pettaway (Will), Tanesha Sneed, Crystal Weekly, Ashley Cartel, Chelsea Richardson and Anne Harris; nephews, Michael Woods, Joshua Cole, Marcus Porter, Denario Philogene and Nahjae Burton; cousins, Eddie Scott (Linda), JoAnn Reed, Edward Reed (Cheryl) Roosevelt Reed, Venitra Stewart (James) Sarah Avery, Calvina Bostick and Pearl Huggins; special relatives and friends, Keith Strowder (Nicole), Otis William' Tony', Jerome Kelly, Marsha Jones (Johnny), Roriald Jackson (Alicia) and Ma'Kiah Walker. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, September 20th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
