Johnny Moses Williams, Jr. was born on February 11, 1963, in Columbus, Georgia, to the late Johnny Moses Williams, Sr. and Erlene Jackson Butler. Johnny graduated from Leto High School and continued his education at Fort Valley State University and the University of Central Florida. Throughout his professional career, he was employed at the James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital, where he was committed to serving others. A proud United States Army veteran, Johnny served his country with honor and distinction. His military accomplishments and decorations included the Army Lapel button, Army commendation medal (3rd Award), Army Achievement Medal (2nd Award), National Defense Service Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal (2nd Award), Southwest Asia Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Star (BSS), Noncommissioned Office's Professional Development Ribbon with Numeral 2, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Kuwait Liberation Medal, Marksmen Marksmanship Qualification Badge with Automatic Rifle Bar, Air Assault Badge and Driver And Mechanic Badge with Driver-W Bar. His life reflected strength, determination, dedication, and a deep sense of pride in his family, his military service, his career, and his community.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Moses Williams, Sr. andErlene Jackson Butler; aunt, Arie Williams (George); uncles, Alexander Jackson and WilliamJackson, Jr.; godmother, Essie Palmore; and cousins, Rueben Cliatt, Al Cliatt, Mattie Belle Cliatt,Rev. John A. Stephens and Charles Williams, Jr.


He leaves cherished memories to his sons, JoshuaWilliams, Jaiven Williams (Sage) and Denzel Williams; daughters, Johnnyne Williams, Areya Berry, Shanise Williams, Jaihde Williams, Faith Williams and Ashley Williams; grandchildren, KaydenBerry, Kyla, Mason Gathers, Major Gathers, Marley Gathers and Joshua Williams, Jr.; brothers,Micheal Williams and Christopher Williams; sisters, Claudia Howard and Elissa Harris; aunt,Lutricia Neil; niece, ReoAnna Harris; nephews, Alan Averett, Jerod Howard, Tevin Johnson, DeJuanJackson and Marvin Fulks; along with a host of other nieces, nephews and cousins; cousins who werelike siblings, Alzora Jackson, Ann Pierson (June), Alexander Jackson, Sr. (Sheryl) and Faye Fulks(Edward Gallon); god brothers, Ricky Williams, (Palmore), Harold Ricks (like a Brother) and Levette.
