Homegoing services for Mr. Jasper Lee Jolly, Sr., who passed away on Monday, February 14, 2011, will be held Saturday, February 26th, 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, Dr. Evan Burrows, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Jolly was born on November 11, 1933, in Tampa, Florida. He graduated from Middleton High School, Tampa. Mr. Jolly served in the military for a number of years and worked as a supervisor of janitorial services for 37 years with Tampa General Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Jolly and Bessie Wilcox Jolly; brother, Rudolph Jolly, Warren Jolly, Horace Jolly and great grandson, Xavier Wentworth. He leaves to cherish his memories, wife, Barbara Jean Stevens Jolly; Mary D. Jolly is the mother of all 12 children, Ronald Jolly, Jasper L. Jolly, Jr., Karen M. Jolly, Clarence W. Jolly, Brian K. Jolly (Stephanie), Faye M. Jolly, Sandra L. Jolly-Norwood (Jimmie), Adrienne P. Allen, Janice L. Jolly, Jennifer J. Owens (Kevin), Jeffery J. Jolly, and Charyse N. Jolly; stepchildren, Darlenette Smith, Bartholomew Bostick and Taniglla Hymes; grandchildren, William P. Acree, Tavaris Larry, Demetrius L. Brown, Rachel L. Jolly, LaCynthia M. Cato, April L. The viewing will be held at First Baptist Church of College Hill Friday, February 25th, from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5-6 p.m. Family and friends are asked to meet at the church at 1:45 p.m. for the service on Saturday.
