The Celebration of life for Mrs. Joselyn Pamela Walker Saffore who passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 will be heldon Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.at Allen Temple A.M.E. Church2101 N. Lowe St., Rev. Glenn B. Dames, pastor with Rev. R. J. Stevenson, officiating. The interment will be held in Orange Hill Cemetery.

Joselyn was born February 14, 1958 in Marion, South Carolina to Vivian Johnson.Joselyn was educated in Hillsborough County, attending Meacham, Monroe and Tampa Bay Tech High School, graduating with the class of 1976.Joselyn was a member of the Historic St. Paul A.M. E. Church downtown Tampa and in later years New St. Paul AME Church, where she had served as an usher, YPD and lifelong member of the Women's missionary Society (WMS) at the time of her passing she was the West Coast Conference WMS president.Joselyn was preceded in death by her mother, Vivian R. Johnson; her aunts, Evelyn B. Johnson and Ann Jackson; her cousin, Kathy Harris Johnson Reeves. Joselyn is survived by her children, Donnetta C. Walker, Devin C. Walker, Donald J. Walker, Jr. (ChrisonnaChester), Joselyne' A. Saffore and Shavon Clark Harris (Derrick); grandchildren,Jor'DaynI. Walker Larry, JayDunn I. Walker Larry, Bianca D. Walker,La'Deviya'M.J.' The visitation will be held at New St. Paul A.M.E. Church.4603 N. 42nd Street on Friday May 28th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service. We are following the CDC guidelines.
