Homegoing services for Mr. Joseph Jenkins of 4010 E. Clifton Street., who passed away, Friday, July 16, 2010, will be held Saturday, July 24th at 11:00 a.m., Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Joseph was born on February 18, 1972 in Tampa, Florida. He loved music and cars. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Tom Jenkins; grandmother, Gladys Dixon; great grandparents, Jake an Evelyn Rawls; uncle, Timothy Jenkins; aunt, Bonnie Dixon; and cousin Leonard Walker. He leaves to cherish his memories his children, DeAndre Jenkins and Jonika Jenkins (Monica); grandchildren, Trovon Jenkins and Drayannah Jenkins; parents Larry and Patricia Jenkins; brothers, Keith Jenkins and Larry Jenkins, Jr.; grandparents, Ollie Jenkins and Jake and Pearl Rawls; aunts, Chris Moore, Pecola George, Betty Williams, Vivian Jenkins, Mattie Woodard, Janice Dixon, Pauline Dixon and Sandra Renod Snowden; uncles, Tommy Jenkins (Rosalyn), Lorenzo Jenkins, Harvey Dixon, Jake Rawls, Blake Rawls and Bobby Moore; a host of loving cousins and friends; three close friends, Pokie, Joe, Darren, Calvin Lewis, Bobbie Anderson, Felicia Jones and Tyrone Franklin; and cousin, AJ; the Reese Family, the Woodard Family, the Carroll Family, the Bryant and Hicks Families of Quincy, Florida The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday from 5-8 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the Chapel at 10:45 a.m. for the service on Saturday.
