Mr. Joseph Jones was born April 14, 1957, in Jesup, Georgia, to the late Joseph, Sr. and Lucy Jones. Joe was educated in the Wayne County School System. In 1991, Joseph moved to Tampa, Florida and worked as a maintenance man and laborer for the former Roberts Furniture, and Rooms to Go Warehouse. Joseph was a hard worker and very dependable family man.

He enjoyed fishing, cooking, and watching Gators and Buc football and WWE Wrestling. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph, Sr. and Lucy Jones and his mother-in-law, Lillie Shuler Williams. Joseph leaves to cherish his memories: wife, Tangela T. Green; daughter, Miracle Faith Jones; sisters-in-law, Ellen "Lisa" Green, Theresa Green, Helena Green, and June Campbell-Williams; nieces and nephews, Tameka and Larry Knott, Ashley Grant-Hills, Iva and Anthony Phillips, Chauncey Flowers, and William Green Sr.; like brothers, William Grant, and Andrew Mingo; devoted friends/neighbors, Tomeka Williams, Irma Feacher, Tasha Thomas, and Melissa Thomas.
