Donation for MSAA

Joseph was born February 8, 1952, in Tampa, Florida to the late Juanchi and Eunice Martinez. He attended St. Peter Claver Church. He also attended St. Peter Claver Catholic School. He graduated from Tampa Catholic High School.

He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged. He then graduated from Ohio State University, where he graduated summa cum laude, with a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for GMC automotive company for many years.

After retirement, he returned home to Tampa to be with his family. When they transitioned, he was by the side of his mother and sisters. He was very generous and helped the homeless by giving them food and clothing monthly. He was very dedicated to assisting them to do better in life.

He leaves behind his wife of 15 years, Jana Martinez; children, John Michael Martinez, and John Haddad; and a host of grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; sister, Frances Martinez, and brother, Mike Martinez; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
