Homegoing services for Mrs. Josephine B. Jones of Seffner, Florida who passed away on Saturday July 4, 2015 will be held privately on Saturday, July 11, 2015, Rev. Joan Clark, officiating. There will be a public visitation at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd on Friday, July 10th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends during the wake hour from 6 to 7 p.m. The interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Josephine B. Jones was born June 7, 1936 in Savannah, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Adella Snider. Josephine attended the schools of Tampa, FL and worked for the cross town Expressway upon retiring. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite pastime included watching WW Wrestling and she also loved to watch, "The Have and the Have Nots". Josephine always kept a smile on her face and she loved to crochet, play on her tablet, shop, travel and was an excellent cook. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her mother, Adella Snider; sister, Estella B. Johnson and stepfather, Edward Snider. Josephine leaves to cherish her memories with her husband of 61 years, Marshall Jones, Jr.; children, Paulette Nelson, Adella Gordon (Jerome), Marshell Armwood (Johnny), Kenneth Jones (Linda), Marshall Jones, II., and Harold Jones (Rebecca); grandchildren, Katera, Anthony, Alonzo, Johnny, Jr., Kia, Josephine, Devin, Jakor, Jordan, Marcia and Vanessa; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sisters-in-law, Bertha Green and Lydia Barrett (Roger); brother-in-law, Luther Johnson; goddaughters, Charlotte Cornelius and Eliza Cowart; friend and godmother, Lucille Tucker; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
