Homegoing Services for Mrs. Joyce Thompson Semper of Tampa who passed away on Thursday, January 1st, will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015, 12:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Joyce was born Mary 7, 1931 in Tampa, Florida. She enjoyed cooking, reading and solving crossword puzzles. She was a very loving caring person who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 sisters and 1 brother. She leaves cherish her memories children, Alphonso Thompson, Gwendolyn Britton and Latrenia Bryant (Damon); grandchildren, Terence Britton, Kimberly Jones and Torian Bryant; great grandchildren, Danarius, Adelius and De'quain Britton; sisters, Vernell Williams, Evelyn Brookins and Gwendolyn Lindo; nephew, Curtis Thompson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Thursday, January 8th from 4 to 7 p.m. The family will receive guest from 6 to 7 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the gravesite for the service on Friday
