Juanita was born in Tampa, Florida, on November 2, 1938, to the late Washington Doby and Susan Edwards. Juanita was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County. She retired from the School District of Hillsborough County (Stephen Foster Elementary School) after working for 30 years. Juanita was a member of the New Testament Worship Center for over 40 years. She loved the Lord and accepted him as her savior at an early age. Her passion were her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, listening to The Gaithers, watching Jimmy Swaggart on the television, and feeding hungry children. She loved her family very much and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Washington Doby and Susan Edwards; husband, James Dallas; son, Anthony Doby; brothers, Vernon Patterson and David Edwards.
She leaves to cherish her memory: children, Gwendolyn Doby-Baker (Robert), Juanita Doby, Benjamin Dallas( Chiquita), Lyndon Dallas (Sheila), and Duany Dallas (Angela); grandchildren, Benjamin Donta Dallas, Sr., Lyndon Dallas, Jr.(Valerie), Branden Doby (Takara),Brandi Gallego (Mario), Whitney Hale (Tadd), Rashad Jones, Breyuan Dallas (Courtney), Lianichella Deniece-Wright, Duana Lewis (Mark), Nyzetta Dallas, and Duany Dallas, Jr. (Michelle); great-grandchildren, Aryana, Ayshianta, Braedyn, Heru, Nairobi, Milo, Bryson, and Carson Dallas, Tadd Hale, Jr., Isaiah , Gabriel, and Ezekiel Hale, Liliana and Julien Gallego, Landon Daryl and Alivia Marie Petty, Marlei, Cahelio, Cahnei, and Aiden Jones, Aniyah and Mark Lewis, Jr., Heaven-Lei Donker, Kai Fuller, Kaylani Doby, and Anthony McDaniel; sister, Lisa Wallace; uncle, Charles Edward (Lola), nieces, Debra Guinyard-Winfield, Brenda McNeil- Patterson, Margo Patterson, Vernonjean Patterson; nephews, Alfred Patterson and Jeffrey Edwards; and a host of cousins
