Homegoing services for Mr. Jude Anthony Dawson, Jr., "JD" of Tampa, who went home to be with the Lord on February 11, 2010, will be held Saturday, February 20th, 11:00 a.m., at Exciting Faith Alive Church, 3111 E. Wilder Ave., Rev. Antonio Hawkins, pastor officiating. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Jude was born March 18, 1980 in Tampa, Fl. to Nina Dawson and Jude Dawson. Jude attended Webb High School and Gary Adult Vocational School. He attended Exciting Faith Alive Church. He worked as a crime scene specialist, recording studio songwriter, and automobile audio installer. His jubilant demeanor will continue to impact the many lives that he touched. Jude was a loving, son, father, brother, nephew, and cousin. He leaves to cherish precious memories with his mother, Nina Dawson of Tampa, Fl; father, Jude Dawson of Mechanicsville, VA; two children, Janiah Dawson and Anthony Jude Dawson Jr. of Tampa, Fl; three siblings, Shanshe' Dawson, Kenneth Garard, Jr., and Kirkland Garard, all of Tampa, Fl; four uncles, Michael Oliver, Samuel Oliver, Jr., Gerald Oliver, and Eric Oliver, (Darlene), two aunts, Desiree Cheeseman (David, Sr.), and Bridget Gordon (Andrew, Sr.); eleven cousins, Michael Oliver, Jr. (Katrina), Shani Oliver, David Cheeseman, Jr., Julia Cheeseman, Lameka Oliver, Jamell Johnson, Eric Oliver, Jr., Aishya Oliver, Andrew Gordon, Jr., Andrea Gordon, and Andres' Gordon, all of Tampa, Fl. as well as a host of other sorrowing relatives and friends. The viewing was held at Aikens Funeral Home on Thursday, February 18th, 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The family received friends during this time. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church for the service on Saturday.
