A homegoing celebration for Ms. Judyette Dudley, affectionately known as Tootsie, transitioned and gained her wings on Saturday, October 21, 2017. Her last dance will be held Saturday, October 28th, 12:00 p.m. at Northside Missionary Baptist Church, 5706 N. 40thSt., Rev. Ricardo Robinson, pastor officiating. The interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Judyette was born May 19, 1960 at Clara Frye Hospital in Tampa, Florida to the late Willie Dudley, Sr. and Eddie Mae Thompson. Ms. Dudley attended Hillsborough County Public Schools, graduating from Robinson High School, class of 78'. She was a vibrant woman who loved fashion, music, dancing, entertaining, family, and life. She attended St John Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Bartholmew Banks. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Katerleen Anderson (Katie), and uncle James Thompson. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her children, Lakeisha Jones and Lamar Jones (Chaunye); grandchildren: Janae Johnson, Tylea Johnson, and Nasir Jones; siblings: Willie Dudley Jr, Andrew Thompson (Tabitha), Reginald Thompson (Nita), Adrian Thompson (Theresa), Demetrius Thompson and Tommy Alexander, all of Tampa, FL; aunts and uncles: Elizabeth Thompson (Tampa), Arentha Alford (Tampa), and Lonnie Thompson (MaryAnn) Columbus, GA; Shirley Ann Thompson (Mt. Vernon, NY), god-brother, Barry Ardley (Charlotte); and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly; special family and friends: Linda Maddox, Jackie Williams, Charles Jones, the Tolbert Family, Betty Fountain, Regina Bryant, Wanda Bullock, Linda Burney, Artrell Thompson, Gwelda Jackson, Jamacina Murdock, Belinda Fedrick, Alton Goggins, Tammy Fowler, Carlos Cruz, Kevin Murdock, Walter Revere, Sharon Mays, Curt Denson, April Reese, John Wilson, Charles Samuels, Terry Gay, Vivian Gay, and Connie Tucker. The viewing will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, October 27thfrom 5:00-8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
