June Vertina Fitzpatrick was born on March 16, 1961, in Tampa, FL to the late Joe Louis Fitzpatrick and Rutha M. Tucker Holden. June was a graduate of Hillsborough High School class of 1979. June attended Hillsborough Community College. June was a member and grew up in the Greater New Salem Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. R.H. Howard, where she sang in the choir, ushered and attended Sunday School. She later joined the Hope of Shiloh Community Church. June was a Communication Specialist for St. Joseph Baycare Hospital and on May 2024, she retired after 10 + years of service.

She was preceded in death by her father the late Joe Louis Fitzpatrick; brother, Stanley Jones; maternal grandparents, the late Nathaniel R. Tucker and Elizabeth Poole Baity; paternal grandparents, the late Samuel Fitzpatrick and Mattie Lee Westmoreland Fitzpatrick; uncles, Nathaniel R. Tucker, Jr., Williams James Tucker, Samuel Fitzpatrick, Jr., William Jewell Fitzpatrick, Clarence Fitzpatrick, Ernie Fitzpatrick, Willie Fitzpatrick, Wilford Fitzpatrick, and Robert Fitzpatrick; aunts, Lorene Tyson, Bessie M Owens, Cynthia Tucker and Mattie B. Johnson; nephew, Stephen White, Sr.

June enjoyed the outdoors and loved family. June was very outgoing. June never met anyone as a stranger and to know her was to love her. Although she had no children, she was the mother to all her nieces and nephews. She leaves to cherish fond memories to her mother, Rutha M. Tucker-Holden; sisters, Sevelia L. Franklin and Christalle Toombs (Robert); a host of nephews and nieces some of whom are nephews, Stanley K. Jones (Chantrell), Hakeem Y. Jones, Christopher P. Williams, Jr., Stephen White II, Stanley K. Jones, Jr. and Nathan B. White; nieces, Zuleka M. Jones-White, Ashley A. Bynum, Robianna E. Toombs, Nova T. Daniels, Aaliyah A. Daniels, Camira A. Williams, and Aniyah Austin; uncles, Maurice Tucker (Cassandra) of Tampa, FL and Ralph Fitzpatrick (Brenda) of Louisville, KY; aunts, Virgil Fitzpatrick and Nancy Fitzpatrick; a host of cousins some of whom are: Darlene Tyson, Robin Tyson, Ricky Tyson, Celia Tyson, Marva Owens, Fonda Holmes Tyson, Maureen Tucker, Natasha S Tucker and Maurice N.
