Mrs. Erma Jean (Junnee) Crump was born on April 7, 1952, in Calcis, Alabama, and was raised in Tampa, Florida. She attended H.W. Blake High School. Erma Jean was known for her sense of fashion as a Central Avenue model in the late 1960s through the early 1980s. She enjoyed dancing and was admired for her hospitality, kindness, love for cooking, and her unique gift of making everyone feel welcome. She was a dedicated sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, always opening her home and her heart—especially to children—offering love and support.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Sara Harris Scott; husband, Lawrence Crump; brothers, James Harris, Jr., Richard Earl Harris, and Anthony Holmes; sister, Cheron Fabian; granddaughter, Ulicia Spain Mungen; and grandson, T'Cendrick Moore.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her children, Gregory A. Spain, Christopher A. Spain, and Sangria Hankins (Freddie) of Valdosta, GA; grandchildren, Gregory, Jr., Rashard Spain, Yeshia, Javari, DeKennon, Gerrod Moore, LaQuanda McCrary, Quantavious Mungen, Tyteyannah Bailey of Waycross, GA, Sebria, Jamarcus, Safari, Q'Shaun Spain, Christopher McKelvin (Keantae) of Waycross, GA, Atistiana Spain, Amarue', Ne'Shelby, and Ronald III Hudson; siblings, Iverstine Williams (Grady), Sarah Harris Brooks, Prophetess Aurora Holmes-Hills, Rodney Brown (Angie), Augustus Brown (Quintella), Comina Newsome, Michael Stafford (Debra), and Veda Jenkins (Will). She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, including Sheila Harris, Learline Mobley, Yvette "Ronnie" Harris, Michael "Tad" Williams, Agretta Brooks, Eric Brooks, Alessi Manuel, Candice Larry (Ethan), Maya Holmes, Corey Burgess, Felicia Godwin, Syrterrek Jones, SirBaron Singletary, Nekoma Holmes, Rikeisha Brown, Samaryon Rother (Marty), Augustus "Duke" Brown, Jr., Renard Brown (deceased), Dominique Johnson (Dominic), Augustasia Brown, Quincy Brown, Capree Holmes, Porsche Stalker, LaPorsche Smiley (James, Sr.), Michael "Reese" Stafford, Jr. (deceased), Michael Isler, Myeshia Stafford (Angel), LaTreva Durant (Corey), Roslynn Fabian, Temprestt Fabian, Ross, Jr., and Maliek Fabian. She also leaves to cherish her memory her god-daughter, Tanjaka Taylor (Monkey) of Waycross, GA, along with a host of great-grandchildren, extended family, friends, and loved ones who will miss her dearly.
