Obituary

Homegoing service for Mr. Kadeem Jesse Kyle Shillingford, "Jesse" of Tampa who passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2012, will be held on Saturday, October 6th, 2:00 p.m., at New Testament Worship Center, 5107 E. 32nd Ave., Rev. Deborah L. Comellas, officiating. Interment will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. Kadeem was born to Skelford and the late Joanne Shillingford on April 7, 1997 in the city of Roseau on the island of Dominica. Jesse as he was affectionately called attended Pepin Academy High School, where he was in the 10th grade. He was a member of the CROP program, USF. Jesse gave his life to the Lord at the age of 10 and became a great young man of faith whose life impacted many. Jesse was a member of New Testament Worship Center Church. He was a very caring person and loved to draw, dance, sing and worship God. He also loved to attend his school, go to the library and attend movies. Jesse leaves to cherish his memories, father and step-mother, Skelford and Lucille Smith Shillingford (Tampa); siblings, Amy Shillingford and Bryan Hampton (Tampa); grandparents, Euvilla (Dominica), Catherine (Georgia), Ramsey (United Kingdom) and Vincent (Dominica); aunts, Florence, Helene, Virginia (Canada), Margaret, Celestine, Junie and Phyllis (Dominica), Judith, Irma (Antigua), Vignet (New York), Cynthya, Patricia and Miranda (United Kingdom), Kate and George (Tallahassee), Gloria and Thurston, Teresa and Jimmy, Bridgette and Carla all of (Cairo, GA); uncles, Francis, Rafael, Lucien, Randy, Gibbs (Dominica), Rudolph (United Kingdom), John, Bradley and Phillip (Dominica); Cleveland and Ann (Bunnlevel, NC), Randy and Dorothy (Thomasville, GA), John Ira and Joyce (Cairo, GA), John Arthur and Venus (Gainesville, FL), Karon and Teresa (Lawton, OK), Walter (Louisville, KY), Duane, Terrell and Willie all of (Cairo, GA); niece, Aniyah Hampton and nephews, Trevion Hampton and Xavier Estien cousins, Korlita (China), Sierra (Venezuela), Kimora, Simone, Vincia (Tampa), Janelle (Maryland) and many more cousins and a host of other relatives and friends. The viewing will be held on Friday, October 5th at Aikens Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
