Karen W. Mitchell, 63, affectionately known as "Squirt". Karen was born on November 15, 1961, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Karen was a proud Florida State graduate who went on to be employed by the state of Florida with dedication until her retirement. A beloved wife and devoted mother, Karen, was somewhat private by nature yet deeply loved by family and friends. Her generosity was quiet and constance- she was always willing to help others as much as possible. For 40 years of marriage- 45 years of love and togetherness. She and her husband built a life centered around faith, family, and a steady daily.
Karen was preceded in death by her loving parents, Ret. Sgt. Henry L. and Rubye L. Williams; brother, Henry A. Williams, Sr.; grandmother, Martha Brown.
She leaves to celebrate her homegoing to her loving husband, Warren F. Mitchell; daughter, Kourtney S. Mitchell; son, Juwan G. Mitchell (Michele); grandchild, Jaxon J. Mitchell; aunt, Rosalyn Richardson (George); sister, Nicole Williams; brother, Broderick Williams, Sr. (Marie); sisters-in-law, Brenda Williams, Juanita Mitchell (Jerome) and Clara McClendon (Hollis); brothers-in-law, Wayne Mitchell, Sr. (Doretha), Charles Colston (Mazola), Jenerald Colston, Sr. (Yolanda), and Casper Colston; nieces, Koren Williams, Monica Williams, Tracy Williams, Erica Williams, Tawana Carr (Tori), Leda Giles (Derrick) Shronda Jacobs, Kaylisse Sellers, Senboya Sutton, Amanda Mitchell, Vanessa Hardy (Labon), Miji Colston , Latisa Colston, Pamela Colston, Alice Colston, and Alicia Colston; nephews, Kouri Williams (April), Korrell Williams, Broderick Williams, Jr. (Erika), Henry A.
