A Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Karen Lynn Putnam of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Saturday, September 7, 2019 will be held Thursday, September 19th, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Karen Lynn Putnam was born June 27, 1960 in Cherry Point, North Carolina. She enjoyed playing dominoes, going to the beach and living life to the fullest. She was preceded in death by her mother, Katie Putnam; grandmother, Eva Bell; sister, Lashawn Putnam and a host of others. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her daughter, Tavona Putnam; grandsons, Raheem Bryant and Jesse Brown III; granddaughter, Lashawnteona Brown; great-grandchildren, Rayona Kelly, DaKari Bryant and RaKeiri Bryant; father, James Putnam; brothers, Lorenzo Putnam and Craig Putnam; sisters, Janice Putnam and Mary Boyd; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; best-friend, Sirnita Armwood; A1 day 1 cousin, Marylin Rushing. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, September 19th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
