A homegoing celebration for Ms. Karen Lynette Sanders of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 will be held Saturday, August 11th, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Elder Jerre Norton, officiating. The interment will be Sunset Memory Gardens, Thonotosassa, Florida. Karen Lynette Sanders was born July 14, 1959 in Clearwater, Florida. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ernestine Patterson. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her children, Danderia Sanders (Ryan), Randy Sanders Harris and Gerald Thompson (Tameka); grandchildren, Zakia Williams, Zariah Williams, Zaniyah Williams, Da'Nyla Harris and Shigire Thompson; a host of brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; Stephanie McDowell; and a host of other family and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, August 10th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at chapel on Saturday for the service.
