Homegoing Celebration for Mrs. Kathryn Michelle Oates "Shell" of Tampa, FL who passed away Thursday, October 22, 2015 will be held Thursday, October 29th, 12:00 p.m. at Thonotosassa Seventh Day Adventist, 9525 Joe Ebert Road, Seffner, FL, Pastor Charles, with Elder R.E. Benn pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Florida National Cemetery. Kathryn loved to cook and bake cakes. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and loved just being herself. She was preceded in death by her father, Roland Lee Worrell and brothers, Roland Lee Worrell, Jr. and Donald R. Worrell. She leaves to cherish her memories with her husband, Kenneth Oates, Sr.; children, Ferrante Worrell (Pamela), Vonnetta Oates and Kenneth Oates, Jr.; grandchildren, Samari Oates, Tatiana Worrell and Jalisa Worrell; mother, Ruth M. Worrell; brothers, Leonard Worrell and Tony Worrell; sisters, Chris Ann Worrell and Teresa W. Smith (Andrew); aunts, Lillie M. Harris (Walter); a host of nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Thursday for the service.
