A Memorial Service for Mrs. Katie L. Wise Hutchinson of Tampa, who passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014, will be held on Saturday, December 20th, 2:00 p.m. at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Bro. Eric Atterberry, officiating. Katie was born on September 19, 1954 in Tampa, Florida. She worked at NuAir Windows and Doors Company. She loved Genuine her exotic bird, gardening and doing field services with the Sisters at Kingdom Hall. Mrs. Hutchinson was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar J. Wise, Sr. and Grace A. Clayton Wise; brothers, Wilbert A. Wise and Oscar J. Wise III and sister, Ela Wise Fortilus. She leaves to cherish her memories with her brother, Eddie J. Wise (Cynthia); aunts, Lillian Gates (Andrew), Annie Mae Gates, Serena Jones and Betty Wise; nieces, Jael Cherry and Kenyatta Watkins; great nieces, Jocelyn Fortilus and Jazmyne Wise; nephews, Jacques Fortilus, Eddie Wise, Travis Wise, Wesley Wise, Kendall Boykins and Jerome Boykins; great nephews, Derrick, Jr., Jeremiah Wise and Jacques Fortilus III; cousin, Feementha Huggins and family; friends, Eunice Massey and Josephine Bridges; special friend, Jennifer Drummond; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
