Katina Austin was the light of the room with her smile and caring heart. She attended Gaither High School in Tampa where she met and made an impact on many neighborhood friends. She was united in nuptials to Quincy Lowery. She was a loving daughter, devoted sister, caring mother, thoughtful grandmother, "the fun" cousin, and dear friend. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, and trying new restaurants. She was a devoted Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan and loved attending events in the Tampa Bay area each year. She enjoyed celebrating the holidays and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her parents, Patricia Lomax and Tyrone Austin; daughter, Christina Gardner-Bivins (Michael); and son, Patrick Teel; grandchildren, Michael Bivins III, Shane Bivins, Josiah Bivins, Micah Bivins and Mlanie Adele Charon-Teel; siblings, Daryl Harrison and Vivian Teel; her stepbrothers, Patrick Myers (Mia), Antwan Lomax (Jackie), Lanoris Parker (Vontrice),and Delong Lomax; her companion, Alexis Woodall; aunts, Diane McNeal and Sonya Lynch; uncles, Ronald Crumbley, Tommy Crumbley, Arthur Austin (Cindy) and Robert Williams (Pearline); niece, Kyara Adams; nephews, Michael Austin, Kareem Adams II,Daryl Harrison Jr, Darius Harrison, and Keyon Adams; cousins, Damien Crumbley, Carlos Moment (Yari), Carlton Moment (Yolanda), Victor Paul Crumbley, Bridgette Crumbley, Harold Anderson II, Sharon Webb, Traci Crumbley, Anitra Crumbley, Lisa Cornwell (Rodney), Aaron Crumbley, Arthur Austin (Lynette), Lavell Austin, Brice Austin, Brock Austin, Brody Austin, Lisa Crumbley, Tomica Crumbley and family, and many more beloved cousins; close friends, Senora Flowers, Latrice Williams, Tonya Watkins (David), Douglas Hill, the Shadow lawn crew, Andrea Snelling and manymore. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Thursday, November 11th, from 4:00 to 7:00. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Friday for the service. We are following CDC guidelines.
