A Homegoing Celebration for Mr. K.D. Johnson, Jr. of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 will be held Friday, May 15th, 10:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Rev. Michael Neely, officiating. The interment will be held in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida. K.D. Johnson was born September 6, 1948 in Tampa, Florida to the late K.D., Sr. and Willie Anna Johnson. He enjoyed being outside and landscaping. He served in both United Sates Army and Marine Corp., where he fought in the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Annie Tate. He leaves to cherish his precious memories with his children, Felicia and Dorian Johnson and Edmund Jones; grandchildren, Tobias and Dorian, Jr. Johnson, Edrienne, Enala, Ezra, Elijah and Emarion Jones; great-grandchildren, Saint Townes and Zyir Jones; brothers, William Oscar Johnson; sisters, Laura Hicks and Melissa Coleman; nieces, Tscharner Ryder, Patsy Tate, Michelle Harris, Khalilah Williams, Natasha Richardson and Shelon Johnson; nephews, Woodrow Tate, L. Michael Hicks, William Oscar, Jr., Bryant Johnson and William A. Johnson, Antonio and Michael Coleman; friends, Carolyn Williams, Robert Gray, Joe Redding and Julius (Jr.). The family and friends will greatly miss him.
