A celebration of life for Mr. Keith Reche Batchelor Sr., of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018 services will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Greater Mt. Moriah P.B. Church, 1225 N. Nebraska Ave, Dr. B.R. Fulton, Jr., pastor, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 East Hanna Ave. Mr. Keith Reche Batchelor, Sr. was born in Tampa, Florida. He was educated by the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a graduate of University of South Florida. He was an avid reader and lover of basketball, but most of all a 'sharp' dresser. He was preceded in death by his father, John H. Chester and his grandparents, John and Alberta Batchelor and Andrew and Exie Chester. He leaves to cherish memory his son, Keith R. Batchelor Jr. (Raven); partner in life, Valadia Batchelor; grandson, Elijah Batchelor; granddaughter, Rayne Batchelor; mother, Barbara Batchelor-Johnson; sisters, Katrina Washington (Chris), Angie and Kimberly Chester; step-mother, Rio Chester; niece, Jesyca Giles; aunts, Bettye Brown (Clifford), Shigeko Louise Batchelor, Rita Anderson (Lawrence) and Thelma Inghram (Clinton); uncles, Fred Chester (Oralee), Frank Chester (Maggie) and Curlie Chester (Lisa); a host of cousins and relatives; extended family friends, Willie Mae Burney, Martha Thompson, Eldis Mitchell, Ethel (Pat) Davis and Linda Grant and their families. Lastly, our sincerest gratitude goes to Mr. Batchelor's home church family the Greater Mt. Moriah P.B. Church. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, January 26th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
