Mr. Kelvin Eugene Walker, Sr. was born in Ruislip, Middlesex, England to Eugene Walker and Martha Joyner-Walker. Kelvin attended King High School, where he cultivated a strong work ethic and an insatiable curiosity about the world. His professional journey took him to Old Castle Inc., Bonsal America, where he proudly served as a supervisor of forklift operations. His commitment to his work indicated his character, always striving for excellence and supporting his colleagues. Beyond his professional life, Kelvin had an array of hobbies and interests that brought joy not only to him but to those around him. He was an avid gardener, finding solace in the earth and the green things that grew from it. His love for music provided a soundtrack to his life, often filling the room with melodies that uplifted spirits. A passionate collector of Jordan sneakers, Kelvin enjoyed the thrill of the hunt for the perfect pair. He had a special affinity for crab legs, often gathering with family to savor delicious meals filled with laughter and love. Kelvin was known for his witty sense of humor and his optimistic outlook on life. His ability to find joy in the little things was infectious, making every gathering one to remember. He had a unique gift for making people smile, and his laughter was often the highlight of family gatherings and community events. In his later years, Kelvin made his home in Tampa, Florida, where he continued to embrace life with open arms.
Kelvin was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Walker; mother, Martha Joyner-Walker; grandparents, Charlie Walker, Sr., Essie Walker, Sam Joyner, and Buleah Joyner.
He leaves cherished memories to his wife, Linda Walker; children, Tambra Morrison, Chakara McNeil, Paris (Devon) Corral, Kelviyana and De'Vonte Walker-Valentin, and Kelvin and Janeshia Walker, Jr.; grandchildren, Kynnedi, Kayden, Kehlani, Sherrad, Ja'Nysia, Zuri, Zyhir, Bonnie Rose, Dimere, and Phoenix; brother, Darryl Walker (Melissa); sisters, Yvette Walker, Josette Walker, Denine Rutledge (Keith), Lisa Smith (Richard), Melissa Rosario (Manny), and Ciara Chatters; aunt, Pearl James; uncle, Ralph Joyner; and a host of his Walker Family Members.
In honor of Mr. Kelvin Walker, the coordinating colors for the service will be red, white and black. The family is requesting attendees, if they choose to wear on of these colors.
