Obituary

A Homegoing Celebration for Kenneth Elwood Buie III of Tampa, Florida who passed away, Sunday, January 31, 2021, will be held on Saturday, February 6th, 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N. 29th Street, Pastor S. Evan Burrows with Rev. Christopher Jarnegan, officiating. The interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Kenneth was born in Tampa, Florida on September 1, 2003. He attended the schools of Hillsborough County and was a member of First Baptist Church of College Hill. He enjoyed playing football, rapping, playing pool and dominos. He was also talented and loved to draw.

He was preceded in death by his: great grandfather and grandmother Ruby and Ernest Sr. Lockly; great grandfather, Roosevelt Tarver; great uncle, Edward Tarver; grandmother, Mary Ann Bellinger and Jeremy' Red Man'; great-great grandmother, BaeHoney.

He will be missed by his loving family, great grandmother, Elouise Tarver, mother, Dorcas Lockly; step-father, Reginald Nelson, Jr.; sister, Jah'nyah Mills; brothers, Reginald Nelson III, Robert Kellem III and dad Robert Kellum; grandmother, Rose Lockly and James Baker; grandfather, Ernest Lockly and Steffani Lockly; great aunts, Reba Tarver, Marilyn, Carolyn, and Annie Lockly; great uncles, Anthony Tarver and Andy Lockly; aunts, Zambria (John) Tarver, Sierra Tyson, Karrissa House, and Bella Proto; uncles, Roosevelt Lockly, Ernest Lockly III (EJ) and Preston Tyson (PJ); cousins, Teka Davis, Stacey Lockly, Corey and Freddie Judge, Tremayne Coonce, Azaria Tarver, Asani and Dillion Brooks, Zamaria, Phillip Jr., Knowledge and Carter Shuler, Cardell Shuler, Elton Campbell, Robert Daniels, Sharita Wilson and family, Vantanna Tarver and Madio, Phillip Shuler, Pernell Shuler, Marlon Tarver, Jovita Smart and family, Mary and Gary Smart, Jamaal Black and family, Darlene Palmer and family, Janet Smith and Wilson family, Kay Crum and family, Twila Lowman and family, Gregory Black and family, Clayton Black and family, Barbara Gene Tibbs and family, Denise Black, Antonio Keaton and family, and many more close friends and family who loved and enjoyed his presence.

The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Friday, February 5th, from 5 to 6 p.m. The invited family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday for the service.
